Many of our clients find us out of desperation. Sometimes their prescription for physical therapy has run out. Sometimes they want to take a more active role in their shoulder rehab.
One of the questions I usually ask them is, “how did you rehab your shoulder”? Here’s one of our client’s answers.
How did you rehab your shoulder?
“I purchased my ROTATOR in 2009 for my reoccurring left shoulder after trying everything (massage, chiropractor, muscle stim, acupuncture, icy hot, you name it).
When I received it I fully expected to be sending it back for a refund because nothing had worked and how could this basic looking thing do any good. So I followed the recommended stretching methods and to be honest it was a bit painful at first. Little by little, I was able to stretch further.
I first started to notice less pain when sleeping. After about a month, I was at least 80% better. Two months later, I was back to doing bench press without pain.
For me the most beneficial stretch was the behind the back stretch. Somehow that stretch really targeted my problem. I now have been using the ROTATER on both shoulders for over 5 years and the only time I injure my shoulder is when I get lazy with not using it.
I try to make sure I do it before I work out. I highly recommend the ROTATER.”
