Is the Rotater the “end all” and “be all” of shoulder rehab tools? NO .. In fact, it won’t help with flexion, scaption or extension! BUT it does help with your all important internal and external rotation. Here’s an email from a very active retired RN who felt compelled to share her experience with the Rotater.
I had my rotator cuff and deltoid surgery in Jan of 2011. I don’t remember when I purchased the ROTATER, but I took it on my summer vacation, continued my exercises, and by Dec of 2011, was 100% “cured”.
I am 72 years old, very active and feel that the ROTATER helped me greatly, since I was no longer able to go to therapy during my summer travels. I go to the gym three days a week, enjoy doing Bikram hot yoga once a week, use my wts and bands as instructed, and have no residual discomfort in my shoulder. I DO have concerns about my other shoulder, but, use it with care.
When I got home from summer vacation in 2011, I gave my ROTATER to my therapist. I know she has put it to good use.
