Shoulder Rehab After Bankhart Surgery
April 29, 2011
The following testimonial is from Derek Winship. Derek purchased his Rotater prior to having shoulder surgery to repair a Bankhart lesion.
“I had open Bankheart shoulder surgery on dec 2. I did try it a few times before that tho. I started PT on dec 20 and after doing a couple rounds of PT I know now that every exercise they do at the doc is replicated and actually guided by the Rotater. So I have been using to do my home exercises while still going to the PT. Doc says all my range of motion is really good except for external rotation. I’ve been working with the Rotater on that but doc says not to push it too far until it’s fully healed. So far tho I’m super pleased with it. I think I’m going to use it on my good side too so I don’t get a popeye looking arm one one side and keep them equal. Thanks for making the Rotater and following up with ur customers. I do the same in my business, I think it makes the difference between a shopper and a loyal customer.”

FAQ – How to Adjust Your Rotater Wrist Strap
April 18, 2011
One of the most commonly asked questions we receive from new Rotater users involves the wrist strap. Occasionally someone will email or call us and say they really like they way the Rotater stretches their shoulder, but wish it didn’t take so long to get started. This really baffled me until I had the opportunity to see someone setup and use their Rotater for the first time.
Without going into a lot of details …it seems that some new Rotater users want to make the wrist strap very tight. However, the wrist strap should be loose enough to slip your hand into and out of the wrist strap easily. This video should help:

Is Radical Shoulder Replacement Right for You?
April 6, 2011
Who wants to have the end of their upper arm sawed off and then have a deep hole drilled down the center? No one….unless you’re suffering from the extreme pain of Osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis, also known as degenerative joint disease, results in the wearing away of the cartilage of the joint. When the cartilage is gone, you have bone on bone contact with no lubrication between and PAIN…lots of pain.
