The importance of shoulder flexibility in the golf swing

How important is shoulder flexibility to a golfer?  It’s a rhetorical question, because we all know the answer.  If you want a smooth, fluid and flowing golf swing like the golf professionals that you see on television, then you must have flexible shoulders.

1.  Watch the shoulder flexibility video (below) by the Titleist Performance Institute ( TPI )

2.  Compare the TPI video with the photographs of Damon Lucas that follow the video, as he uses the Rotater.  Damon is a PGA teaching professional, the Director of Instruction at Chestnut Ridge Country Club in Lutherville, Maryland and he established the first Putting Zone Academy in the U.S. after extensive study under Geoff Mangum

3.  Then watch the video demonstration of the Rotater to see why so many golfers and long drive competitors are using the Rotater to increase their shoulder flexibility.

  1. Great show and tell. The Rotater will help get your shoulder flexibility shown in the TPI video. Pretty impressive!!!

  2. It is amazing to see the looks on people’s faces when they try it for the first time – they find it difficult to believe that such a simple shoulder device can deliver can deliver such a full and complete stretch.

Once a person tries the Rotater and he/she feels the stretch for themselves – they want one right away.

Thanks for stopping by Brad. Spread the word.

  3. Whether you are professional or not, you need this kind of flexibility, but the question are you willing to achieve it?
