Thank you for your inquiry about the Rotater.

I believe that your question should be answered by your physician.

The Rotater was originally designed to increase shoulder range of motion, however we have designed a way to use the Rotater as a strengthening device. It is by using the Strong Arm attachment, which comes with our "Pink Rotater".

Due to the high demand for information about the Rotater, we are in the process of developing more videos that demonstrate all aspects of the Rotater. One of those videos will demonstrate how the Strong Arm may be able to help you.

If you go to the following link:

http://www.montgomeryadvertiser.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article\?AID=/20071205/VIDEO/71204016

You will see a video of Scott Kay (the inventor of the Rotater) as he discusses the Rotater. Toward the end of the video you will see him give a brief demo of the Strong Arm attachment.

On the Rotater web site, at the following link:

http://www.therotater.com/useit.html

You will see a series of down-loadable documents that you can print. Please click on the one marked "Instructions for using the the "Strong Arm" accessory to help strengthen the shoulder".

I encourage you to show your physician this document or the short video segment of Scott and let him/her determine if the Rotater can help you.

I have had to rotater cuff surgeries on my right shoulder. My motion is good however the strength is not. Do you think I can benefit from this product and not cause another injury to my shoulder. Right now I am limited in things I can and can not do. I am determined not to have another rotator's cuff surgery. I have fibromyalia and rhemetiod arthritis; please let me know if this would help or hinder.
