Shoulder Pain? – Get a MRI
If you have persistent or consistent shoulder pain, then make the time to go see your physician and have your problem checked out. Usually a MRI will reveal most soft tissue damage. I often hear people complain about their shoulder pain and what they think the is causing the problem.
“It’s my rotator cuff” or “I’ve torn my rotator” or “It’s an old rotator cuff injury from high school”
- How do they know?
- Did they go have it diagnosed?
- Is it tendonitis. bursitis or a torn rotator cuff?
- What exactly is a rotator cuff tear?
- Will it fall off?
- Can someone explain it to me?
There’s a fantastic article published in eOrthopod entitled “A Patient’s Guide to Rotator Cuff Tears”. Great pictures and detailed explanations.
