Regaining shoulder range of motion after shoulder surgery can be difficult .. thank goodness we have physical therapists to help. But what options do you have if you can’t get to a physical therapist? For instance, if you travel a lot or live in a very rural area or don’t have insurance coverage for physical therapy … what can you do?
- You can search the internet for shoulder rehab programs you can do at home
- You can invent your own shoulder rehab tool to help – that’s how we came up with the Rotater
- You can rent or buy a shoulder rehab device like the JAS EZ Shoulder
The JAS EZ Shoulder
JAS has been in business since 1992 and according to their website, has helped over 100,000 patients regain range of motion with a variety of products. Their shoulder rehab tool – JAS EZ Shoulder – allows the user to make incremental adjustments in the amount of stretching force applied to the shoulder joint.
Their process is ingenious … stretch the shoulder to the point of tightness and hold for several minutes. This procedure is repeated several times a day.
What are the results?
I couldn’t find any videos of their shoulder rehab device, but I did find this video testimonial about one of their other products … and it’s a great testimonial:
